Clothing that allows full movement and athletic or ballroom shoes with traction, as the handbook lists; ballroom shoes are optional.

No partner is required to enroll in Adult Social Dance; singles are welcome and partners rotate during class.
Which dance should a beginner start with?
Whatever is being taught the week you arrive; every dance is taught from the basic step.
